Training & Certification

Know what each product is for, wear gloves where required, and know where the SDS sheets are. Complete the safety training before handling any chemicals on your first job.

• Gloves required with all chemical products
• No unapproved chemicals; no chemicals on marble/stone
• Red - Lysol Multi-Purpose: counters, dusting, flat surfaces, and stainless steel.
• Blue - Easy Glide: mirrors and windows.
• Orange - LA Awesome: heavy greasy areas.
• Yellow - Zep Neutral pH Floor Cleaner: 2 oz per gallon of water; approved for the floor types covered in training.
• Disinfectant: use only the currently issued, labeled product and follow its matching SDS and label contact time. The digital SDS set currently includes OdoBan; confirm the bottle label before use.
• Brown - Murphy Oil Soap: finished wood and trained non-wood surfaces.
• Green - BioClean: hard-water remover for glass shower doors and shower fixtures only.
• The Works: toilet bowls only; do not drip.
• Bar Keepers Friend or The Pink Stuff: use only on the trained surfaces listed in the Cleaning Tech Success System.
• Weiman Granite & Stone: slate, travertine, marble, and granite.
• Dawn Dish Soap: general surface degreasing. Powerwash must not be used on natural stone, raw wood, copper, brass, or matte paint.
• Sprayway: stainless steel cleaner.

• Be kind and discreet — assume cameras and audio are everywhere. We've lost clients over an offhand comment.
• No comments about the home, no gossiping, no cursing.
• Wear your uniform so you're never mistaken for an intruder.
• It's hard for some people to let us in. Respect that — we're earning their trust every time.
• If something seems off when you arrive (damage, smell, safety concern), call the office before starting.

• Keep your kit organized — you work faster when you know where everything is.
• Put equipment back in the kit; don't leave it around the job site (you'll lose it).
• Don't use others' equipment without asking.
• Restock from the office before running out; coordinate with management.
• Always photograph job site and supplies on arrival using CompanyCam.

• Arrive on time or early. If you'll be late, notify the office and the supervisor immediately.
• Record all working time in Jobber, including required travel between work locations.
• Have everything you need from the start — no running back to your car mid-job.
• Manage your time on site to meet the job's scope without rushing quality.

• Arrive → prep equipment → read job notes in Jobber → entry procedure (key/lockbox; announce if home should be empty).
• Pre-job walkthrough: note any existing damage, concerns, or changes from last visit. Document in CompanyCam.
• Top to bottom, left to right. Check each area before moving on.
• Exit procedure: lights, locks, all equipment accounted for, doors secured.
• Complete the job and time entry in Jobber when you leave.

CompanyCam is how we document our work and protect ourselves and our clients. Every job gets before and after photos — no exceptions.

• Open the job in CompanyCam on arrival and take before photos
• Photograph any existing damage you did NOT cause — immediately, before you start
• Take after photos before you leave
• If something breaks or you notice damage, photograph it and call the office

• Top to bottom — fans and vents first, down to baseboards.
• Use the extending duster for high surfaces; microfiber for furniture and fixtures.
• On an initial clean, do blinds before the window sill.
• Straighten as you go: clean under items, return them to the same spot.

Edges, tracks, rings, and buildup — that's what clients notice.

• High-dust first. Always top to bottom (falling dust on wet surfaces = our most common complaint).
• Glass and mirrors — check from multiple angles in the light.
• Tubs and showers — feel by hand for soap buildup; use appropriate scrubbing products.
• Toilets — the whole thing: seat, base, floor around the base. Most common complaint area.
• Floors by hand around the base; no hair left.

• Top to bottom; confirm the client's preferred counter product if noted.
• Spot-clean cabinets and backsplash for grease with approved products only.
• Stove top by type — check job notes for specific care instructions.
• Microwave inside and out. Fridge exterior; fridge interior on deep cleans or if requested.
• Sinks by material — check before using abrasive products on stone or specialty surfaces.
• Take trash; use client bags when available.
• Never use harsh chemicals on marble, stone, or specialty surfaces without confirmation.

• Vacuum setting for the surface — hard floor setting on wood/LVP (wrong setting damages floors).
• Use extenders into corners and under furniture.
• Mop with the right product for the floor type — never let standing water sit on hardwood or laminate.
• Area rugs — lift, shake, vacuum; don't vacuum fringe (comb it).
• Hand-wipe edges where the mop can't reach.

• Fitted sheet tight and smooth. Flat sheet rough-side up, corners tucked.
• Comforter over; extra blankets folded at foot; pillows neat at head.
• For STR turnovers, follow the property-specific linen requirements in the job notes.

• General Clean — a Maintenance Clean plus one additional hour, focused on newer dirt and extra detail.
• Deep Clean — brings a home to optimum. Hand-wipe fans, sills, baseboards, doors, full cabinet exteriors, full vanity detail.
• Recurring Maintenance — maintains it. Pole-dust high surfaces, spot-clean as needed, consistent standard every visit.
• Move-In / Move-Out — resets an empty home completely.
• STR Turnover — fast, guest-ready standard with linen changeover per property protocol.

When in doubt, check the job in Jobber for that job's specific scope and client notes.

This is restricted Home Services training. The current SOPs are being prepared for the private Hub library.

• Do not perform hot-tub work until the procedure has been assigned and a Home Services trainer has signed you off.
• Use only the approved procedure and products for the assigned service.
• Escalate unclear readings, chemical questions, damage, or equipment concerns to the office.

This is restricted Home Services training. Property-check SOPs are being prepared for the private Hub library.

• Do not perform a property check until the assigned procedure and property-specific instructions have been reviewed with you.
• Keep access details and client information inside the approved job system.
• If you find a problem or the instructions are unclear, call the office before leaving.
